Dr. Blalock is a fellowship-trained hand and wrist orthopedic surgeon who specializes in the treatment of conditions affecting the upper extremity. Treatment focuses include upper extremity trauma, fractures, carpal tunnel syndrome, other nerve entrapment syndromes, arthritic conditions and trigger finger. He offers both open and endoscopic carpal tunnel release as well as arthroscopy. Dr. Blalock became interested in the hand and wrist due to excellent mentorship during medical school, and now he has made this his life’s work.
When not caring for patients, you can find Dr. Blalock enjoying outdoor activities, including running, cycling, carpentry and whitewater kayaking. He especially enjoys class V+ creeking, a kayaking discipline that typical involves navigating steep, low-volume rivers and creeks.
