Rohit Parmar, MD, FACC is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease. In addition, he holds certifications from the National Board of Echocardiography and the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology. He received his medical degree from the University of Bristol in the United Kingdom. During his medical school training, Dr. Parmar completed an externship in Emergency Medicine at Stanford University School of Medicine. He completed an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas and a fellowship in Cardiology at University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston, TX.
Dr. Parmar is on the medical staff at Baylor Heart and Vascular Hospital, Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas, Baylor Medical Center at Waxahachie, and Navarro Regional Hospital. He is a fellow of American College of Cardiology, American Society of Nuclear Cardiology, and American Society of Echocardiography.
