Robert C. Kowal, MD/PhD is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology. He specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of complex heart rhythm disorders. Dr. Kowal received a combined MD/PhD degree from UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. He served his residency in Internal Medicine at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston. He completed fellowship training in Cardiology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and then UT Southwestern Medical Center where he concurrently completed a fellowship in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.
Dr. Kowal is on the medical staff at Baylor Heart and Vascular Hospital and Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas. He is a member of Texas Medical Association, American Medical Association, and Heart Rhythm Society.
