Minh P. Tran, MD is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and specializes in adult cardiothoracic surgery. He received his medical degree from University of Kansas School of Medicine in Kansas City, KS. He completed his internship and residency in General Surgery at Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas where he was Outstanding Cardiothoracic Resident and a two-time recipient of the Five Star Spirit Award honoring his commitment to service excellence. He then moved to Baltimore, Maryland for his fellowship training in Cardiothoracic Surgery at the distinguished Johns Hopkins Hospital.
His professional interests include coronary artery revascularization, thoracic aortic disease, minimally invasive heart and valve surgery, lung cancer, minimally invasive VATS surgery, and medical missions.
Dr. Tran is on the medical staff at The Heart Hospital Baylor Denton, The Heart Hospital Baylor Plano, Denton Regional Medical Center, Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Denton, and Medical Center of Lewisville. He is currently welcoming new patients.
