Dr. M. Brett Raynor is respected in orthopaedic surgery for his innovative technique and his exceptional patient care. Fellowship-trained at the renowned Steadman Philippon Institute in Vail, Colorado, Dr. Raynor treats problems of the knee, hip, and shoulder. He is sought out for his expertise in complex knee ligament injuries as well as arthroscopic surgery of the hip and shoulder.

Dr. Raynor is a U.S. Ski and Snowboard Team physician and travels internationally with the athletes. He provides care for multiple sports and football teams. Dr. Raynor has published several papers in leading sports medicine journals and has presented his research nationally. Dr. Raynor instructs surgical courses and has been a reviewer for the American Journal of Sports Medicine.

After an undergraduate degree from Duke University, Dr. Raynor earned his medical degree from U.T. Southwestern Medical School in Dallas and was elected to the AOA national medical honors society. He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He then completed a fellowship in orthopaedic sports medicine at the Steadman Philippon Research Institute in Vail, Colorado.

Dr. Raynor works to help his patients regain function in order to get back to whatever they love doing. A Dallas native, Dr. Raynor enjoys spending time with his wife and two young daughters as well as running, cycling, and fly-fishing.
