Dr. Kimulique (Kim) Allen is a preventive medicine physician at Cooper Clinic. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Clark College in Atlanta, Georgia. She earned a Master of Science in Neuroscience from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, and her Doctor of Medicine from The University of Mississippi School of Medicine. Dr. Allen completed a psychiatry internship at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and her residency in internal medicine at Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas. She is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Before joining Cooper Clinic, Dr. Allen worked as an internal medicine physician at Texas Health Physicians Group in Dallas. She is a member of the American College of Physicians, American Medical Association, Dallas County Medical Society and Texas Medical Association. Throughout her career, Dr. Allen has served in multiple leadership positions including onboarding, credentials and processes improvement committee.
In her free time, Dr. Allen enjoys reading, exercising, serving her community by volunteering with various organizations and spending time with her husband and son.
