Katherine B. Harrington, MD attended medical school at Stanford School of Medicine in Palo Alto, CA. She served an internship in General Surgery, then completed her residency and fellowship in Cardiothoracic Surgery at Stanford Hospital and Clinics. Dr. Harrington specializes in the treatment of thoracic aortic disease, aortic and mitral valve disease, and coronary artery bypass grafting. She focuses on endovascular and minimally invasive treatment options. In addition, she has extensive training and experience in transcatheter aortic valve replacement.
Dr. Harrington is married and enjoys running, golf, and soccer. She was a PAC 10 soccer champion at Stanford and is fluent in Spanish.
