Dr. Joel Brook, D.P.M., founder of Dallas Podiatry Works, has been practicing in the Dallas area since 1998. He is board certified in both foot surgery and reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery. His offices offer state-of-the-art diagnosis and treatment of all conditions afflicting the foot and ankle. Dr. Brook has served as the official podiatrist for the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders and is currently the podiatrist for the Dallas Mavericks.
Dr. Brook is the Dallas area’s premier bunion specialist. He has pioneered revolutionary new procedures that allow for fast recovery and early return to regular activities. He uses regenerative techniques such as EPAT Shock Wave technology to conservatively manage acute and chronic pain syndromes in patients of all activity levels from the sedentary to competitive athletes.
Dr. Joel Brook earned his bachelor’s degree in biology from Vassar College in 1983. In 1984, he graduated from Columbia University with his master’s degree in human nutrition and went on to earn a doctorate in podiatric medicine from Temple University College of Podiatric Medicine in 1995.
Dr. Brook is consistently voted by his peers as one of D Magazine's Best Doctors in Dallas and Collin County. He has served as chief of podiatric surgery in Medical City, Baylor Scott and White Plano and North Central Surgery Center, where he currently serves on the Board of Directors.
