Jamison M. Albracht, D.O.
Dr. Jamison (Jamie) Albracht has been recognized as one of Collin County’s Best Doctors by D Magazine. For Dr. Albracht, establishing and maintaining solid relationships with his patients is a top priority. He believes in taking a proactive approach to family medicine and that the future is bright for all that embrace change. As both president of Village Health Partners and practicing physician, he lives this philosophy daily.
At Village Health Partners, one of the nation’s premier family medical practices, Dr. Albracht takes a personal approach to getting to know his patients so he can provide them with the best care. Dr. Albracht’s personal style stems from his work in smaller community practices in Frisco, Texas and formerly at the Albracht Family Practice in Dumas, Texas. The quaint feeling of a smaller practice and attention to relationships has been continued with Village Health Partners.
Village Health Partners is a leading family medicine practice known for leveraging technology to enhance the patient experience and provide a higher quality of care than traditional physician offices. His practice is part of Legacy Medical Village, a state-of-the-art complex that consists of primary care, specialty practices and ancillary facilities, offering patients one-stop comprehensive health care.
His talents as a physician are not only distinguished by his excellent patient care, as he is also known for his commitment to preventing illness. Dr. Albracht is board certified in Family Medicine and committed to educating his patients on disease prevention and early intervention to control chronic illness. In addition to applying the latest medical research and cutting-edge technology, Dr. Albracht is a doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.), one of the country’s fastest growing health care segments.
Dr. Albracht excels in diagnosing and treating patients’ illnesses by viewing the body as a whole, rather than focusing on specific symptoms. In addition to traditional medicine, he uses Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (OMT) in certain cases. This is a practice that involves the use of a doctor’s hands to diagnose injury and illness, as it can help encourage the body’s natural ability to heal. OMT is an additional modality aid in treating many patient ailments such as back pain, headaches, and upper respiratory infections.
Dr. Albracht received his B.A. at The University of Texas at Austin, followed by his D.O. at The University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, Texas and completed a family practice residency at Texas Tech University Health Science Center in Lubbock, Texas.
Dr. Albracht has served several years for TOMA (Texas Osteopathic Medical Association) on both local and state level committees. He has been a delegate at the state convention, making an impact to improve healthcare throughout the state of Texas.
Dr. Albracht resides in Carrollton with his wife Michelle and two of his four children, Zach and Lily Kate. Garrett and Chandler are both in college working toward their own future. He and his wife are deeply committed to the personal growth of their children into leaders of moral strength and Christian fellowship.
