J CONNOR RYAN, M.D. is a fellowship trained Orthoapaedic surgeon specializing in hip and knee replacements on the team at Texas Orthoapaedic Assocaites. He sees patients at Plano, TX and Dallas offices. A Dallas native, Dr Ryan attended The University of North Carolina -- Chapel Hill as an undergraduate and received his B.A. in History before going on to earn his medical degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. After graduating top of his class, he continued his education in San Antonio, where he completed residency in orthopaedic surgery, receiving a well-rounded education in musculoskeletal care. Finally, he completed his fellowship in adult reconstruction at the University of Virginia in Charlotteville where he had the opportunity to train with leaders in the field of knee and hip replacement. Dr Ryan has given several presentations and has been published for research in the field. He is affiliated with several professional organizations including, The American Academy for Orthoapedic Surgery, American Assocation of Hip and Knee Surgeons, and Texas Medical Assocation. Dr. Ryan is married to an interior designer with whom he has four children. He enjoys watching and playing all sports, (notably golf), fishing, hunting, traveling, staying active, and spending time with his wife, Page and their children
