As a family medicine provider and Dallas-Ft. Worth Metroplex native, Dr. Greg Ennis takes great responsibility in providing quality healthcare to the residents of his community. Dr. Ennis values creating strong patient relationships as well as getting to know each patient in order to provide the best family medicine and medical treatment possible.
Dr. Ennis has been recognized as one of Collin County’s best doctors in the specialty of family medicine by D Magazine. He is a strong advocate of preventative family medicine in order to assist patients in leading a healthy life. Dr. Ennis specializes in women’s and men’s health, hypertension, diabetes, immunizations, and disease prevention. This has led him to Plano’s Village Health Partners, one of the nation’s premier family medicine practices where the doctors and staff provide a higher quality of care than that of traditional physician offices. Village Health Partners is part of Plano’s Legacy Medical Village, a state-of-the-art complex that consists of primary care, specialty practices and ancillary facilities offering patients one-stop comprehensive health care.
Dr. Ennis brings over a decade of experience in healthcare as well as a specialty in sports medicine to the practice. He is also trained in ImPACT (Immediate Post-concussion Assessment and Cognitive Testing). This testing is utilized to determine recovery following a concussion.
Dr. Ennis’ commitment to the community has led him to previously serve on the Presbyterian Texas Health Sports Network as well as was chairman of the Ethics Committee at the Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital in Allen. He also served as a team physician for Allen High School (suburb of Dallas, Texas).
Dr. Ennis received his B.S. in Zoology from the University of Oklahoma and his M.D. at the University of Texas Medical School in San Antonio, Texas. He went on to complete his residency in family medicine at Baylor Hospital in Garland, Texas.
