Dr. Elisabeth Frei is a general surgeon specializing in dermatological surgery. Her mission is to provide efficient, safe, and compassionate care to each patient at Dallas Associated Dermatologists.
Dr. Frei delves deep into medical research to advance patient care, investigating the link between diabetes and the inflammatory cascade, the etiology and prevention of prosthetic graft infections, as well as ovel hormonal treatments for pseudopapillary neoplasms of the pancreas.
She completed her medical degree at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine. Her internship and residency in general surgery were completed at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas where she served as Chief Resident and was twice named Resident of the Year. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Biology at Loyola University in New Orleans graduating magna cum laude, and her Master of Science degree in Cellular and Molecular Biology from Tulane University in New Orleans, La. graduating summa cum laude.
In her time outside of the clinic, Dr. Frei enjoys salsa and ballroom dancing, traveling, learning foreign languages, and gardening.
