D.J. Verret, M.D.
Dr. D.J. Verret is double board certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology. He has been recognized as one of the Best Doctors in Dallas in D Magazine for the past five years (2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012).
Dr. Verret specializes in rejuvenation of the face. Training for a facial plastic surgeon differs from a plastic surgeon in that facial plastic surgeons spend the majority of their training operating only on the face. Dr. Verret completed one year of general surgery and then, unlike a plastic surgeon, completed a four year residency in otolaryngology and head and neck surgery. Most plastic surgery residents will complete a 3-5 year general surgery residency and then complete a 2 year plastic surgery residency in which they concentrate on all parts of the body, not just the face.
Dr. Verret went on to refine his skills in cosmetic facial surgery in a one year fellowship through the University of Missouri at Columbia. During that year, he was involved with over 400 cosmetic facial plastic surgery procedures. Building on that experience, during his first year in practice, Dr. Verret performed more than twice the average number of facelifts as most plastic surgeons according to the ASAPS survey. He welcomes the opportunity to help you explore possibilities for your own facial rejuvenation.
Dr. Verret utilizes surgical and nonsurgical procedures to help patients look their best including: Acne Scar Revision, Blepharoplasty, Earlobe Repair, Facial Fat Transfer, Facial Scar Revision, Forehead Lift, Hair Transplant, Lip Augmentation, Mentoplasty (Chin Surgery), Otoplasty (Ear Pinning Surgery), Rhinoplasty (Nasal Surgery), Rhytidectomy (Facelift), Skin Cancer, Septoplasty, Innovations Lift™, Surgiwire,Botox® Cosmetic, Dermal Fillers, Filler Facelift, IPL (Photofacial), Laser Resurfacing, Chemical Peels, EarWell Infant Ear Correction System (Non-surgical).
