David John Sacco, M.D.
Dr. Sacco spent his childhood in northern California and obtained his undergraduate in Biochemistry / Cell Biology at The University of California at San Diego. Upon graduating, he attended medical school at Loyola University Chicago, graduating with honors. Dr. Sacco completed his neurosurgical residency at The University of Kentucky. To gain further experience and technical expertise, he completed a prestigious pediatric neurosurgical fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital /Harvard Medical School. In 2002, Dr. Sacco moved to Dallas to begin his career in pediatric neurosurgery. He spent the next several years gaining extensive experience in all aspects of pediatric neurosurgery.
In 2013, Dr. Sacco relocated to Flagstaff, AZ to support a local pediatric neurosurgery program after the unexpected death of their pediatric neurosurgeon, as well as a friend and training partner. Once the practice solidified, Dr. Sacco chose to return Dallas to focus on state-of-the-art pediatric neurosurgery at Medical City Children’s Hospital.
Dr. Sacco is excited to bring his knowledge, experience and training back to the DFW community and surrounding areas. His goal is to provide technical expertise along with a personal approach to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.
