Daniel E. Wandrey, MD is a native Texan who grew up in DeKalb, Texas near Texarkana. He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Central Arkansas in Conway, Arkansas with a degree in Biology and then went on to get his MD from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Wandrey completed a residency in General Surgery at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis, Tennessee and then continued his training with a fellowship in Colon and Rectal Surgery at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.
He is a member of the American Society of Colon & Rectal Surgeons, American College of Surgeons, Texas Medical Association, and the Dallas County Medical Society.
Dr. Wandrey is committed to premier patient care and clinical excellence. He is trained in advanced surgical techniques including minimally invasive surgery and robotics, but still believes the best way to promote health is through a meaningful relationship between the patient and the physician.
