Dr. Weglein is a fellowship trained orthopaedic surgeon specializing in the care of fractures and pots-traumatic reconstruction. He is dedicated to providing patients with compassionate and quality care in the McKinney and Plano communities. Dr. Weglein has a particular interest in Trauma Orthopedics, joint reconstruction, and sports medicine.
Dr. Weglein earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas before completing his residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston. He completed a fellowship in orthopaedic trauma under the guidance of Dr. Alan Jones, the medical director of orthopaedic trauma services at Baylor University Medical Center at Dallas. Dr. Weglein is on the medical staff at Baylor Medical Center at McKinney and Baylor Regional Medical Center at Plano.
Dr. Weglein enjoys mountain biking, running, and triathlon.
