Dr. Pettijohn received his undergraduate degree from the University of Texas and his medical degree from the Texas Tech University School of Medicine. He then went on to complete his residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Cardiology at the Texas A&M College of Medicine (Scott & White Memorial Hospital) in Temple, Texas.
Dr. Pettijohn is board certified in cardiovascular disease and in interventional cardiology. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and is a member of the American Medical Association, the Texas Medical Association and the American College of Physicians.
Dr. Pettijohn and is married and has three daughters. He enjoys caddying for his daughters as they play golf. Dr. Pettijohn sees patients at the Plano Office.
