Hafiza Khan, MD, MMSc, FACC, FHRS is board certified in cardiovascular disease and clinical cardiac electrophysiology. She specializes in device implantations such as pacemaker, implantable defibrillators and cardiac resynchronization devices. She also has a special interest in arrhythmia in women, and the ablation of supraventricular arrhythmias. She is a frequent lecturer on topics such as atrial fibrillation management, sudden death prevention, and ICD therapy.
Dr. Khan graduated from UCLA School of Medicine where she was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. She completed her internship and residency at the UC San Francisco School of Medicine and served as chief medical resident at Moffitt-Long Hospital. Dr. Khan went on to complete fellowships in cardiology and clinical cardiac electrophysiology at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, a Harvard University hospital in Boston. While there, she obtained a Master in Medical Science degree from Harvard-MIT.
