Amena Hussain, MD, FACC, FHRS is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in clinical cardiac electrophysiology and cardiovascular disease. She also holds additional certifications from the National Board of Echocardiography and the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology.
Dr. Hussain completed her undergraduate studies at Brown University where she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She obtained her medical degree from Syracuse University of New York Upstate Medical University. She continued her education at Johns Hopkins School of Public Health where she received a Master of Public Health degree. She stayed on at Johns Hopkins to complete her residency in Internal Medicine at Sinai Hospital. She then completed a Cardiology fellowship at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey followed by a fellowship in Cardiac Electrophysiology at NYU Langone Medical Center.
