Dr. Tariq Alsmadi is an Ivy League graduate from the University of Pennsylvania where he received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree with honors. A few years later, he decided to focus on Endodontics and enrolled at University of Nebraska Medical Center.
During his residency, Dr. Alsmadi became interested in regenerative dentistry and conducted research investigating the role of bone morphogenetic protein 2 (BMP2) on the dental pulp cells. After he graduated from his program, and due to being an outstanding resident and a successful communicator, he was hired as an assistant professor in the same program where he was teaching root canal treatments to dental students. He has been practicing dentistry for almost 20 years, and stays up-to-date by attending conferences and meetings on a regular basis. He is occasionally invited to lecture about regenerative dentistry and root canal treatment.
Dr. Alsmadi is an active member of the American Dental Association, and the American Association of Endodontics. While a resident, he was awarded the UNMC Golden U for excellence as an educator while being an assistant professor.
Dr. Alsmadi is a proud, trained leader, and active supporter of Boy Scouts of America. He enjoys community services. Dr. Alsmadi is married and blessed with three wonderful children. The Alsmadi family enjoys spending time together with outdoor activities and traveling.
