Dr. James S. Guirguis was born and raised in Ireland and England before his family relocated to Cleveland, Ohio. He moved to Dallas in 2010 with his wife Amber, a fellow dentist, and has called Texas home ever since. Dr. Guirguis is also a volunteer dentist at Dallas Life and is very active in the Richardson community through the Richardson Rotary Club. The Doctors’ Guirguis have two sons, Max and Alex and look forward to raising their family in the metroplex.
Dr. Guirguis obtained his dental degree from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry, after receiving his bachelor’s degree at Miami University of Ohio. Prior to entering private practice, he completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the Baylor College of Dentistry. He demonstrates his dedication to postgraduate education with a focus on complex procedures in esthetic, implant, and restorative dentistry.
Dr. Guirguis is a member of the Dallas Study Club, a branch of the Seattle Study Club. This commitment ensures the highest level of care, both today and tomorrow. He is certified in mini dental implants (MDIs) and Invisalign clear aligners and maintains professional membership in the American Dental Association (ADA), Texas Dental Association (TDA), Academy of General Dentistry (AGD), and Dallas County Dental Society.
Dr. Guirguis considers himself a foodie and a travel enthusiast. He stays active by playing soccer and tennis and running after his toddler. He is also an avid Cleveland sports fan.
