The 2-year-old Korean-style spa located in Carrollton is open 24 hours and includes 140,000 square feet of Asian saunas, European water spas, indoor and outdoor pools, relaxation areas, spa service rooms, and restaurants. There is a swim-up bar and a hotel, with rooms modeled after Korea’s W and Park Hyatt hotels. Check in, stash your shoes in a small locker, and enter the large locker room where you’re handed a uniform—a pink v-neck tee (blue for men) and knee-length gray shorts. No shoes. It’s not all DIY saunas, though. Try a facial. You’ll be escorted to Avenue S, where the private suites are housed. You’ll remove all your clothing, prep for your treatment by hanging in a hot tub, drinking tea and eating fresh fruit, and then climb into the massage bed. Staffers here execute a thorough facial and a relaxing massage. Try the 100-minute version for $250. It’s worth the untraditional experience.
