The Social House has put us on a rollercoaster ride. It opened in Uptown; it closed in Uptown. It opened up in Addison and then opened a second location back in Uptown. The good news is rollercoaster rides can be fun. Expect plenty of beer on tap (50 to be exact) and a decent list of wines (again, 50 to choose from). If you’re not a brew expert, enjoy the menu’s quick beer breakdown. Specialty cocktails are available too. (We recommend the super-sweet mango mojito or the bourbon-based Mad Man.) Arrive hungry so you can try some of the better-than-average bar bites. May we suggest the Irish Pork Nachos with avocado mousse or the homemade potato chips? Feeling playful? Brace yourself. The former parking lot of the Uptown location has been turned into an actual playground, where patrons can play bubble soccer, ladder ball, trash-can pong, giant Jenga, and more while enjoying 100 beers on tap plus a full menu.
