During our first visit, we tickled our taste buds with dessert-flavored cocktails. We handed our decision-making over to the creativity of the bartender, who served us an orange cream soda, a root beer float, and a tropical pineapple confection. We also munched on fried pickles and jalapenos, a buffalo chicken sandwich, and shrimp. All were delicious. Our second visit was much less pleasant. Bartenders couldn’t keep up with the orders, and the menu was only partially available due to a lack of ingredients in the kitchen. The place redeems itself, however, with live music every weekend. Owner Rick Sawyer says he’s preparing for a major menu revamp, so we’ll blame the snafus on the upcoming changes, and try again later.
