This cool alternative to Hurricane Harbor usually offers shorter lines and more family-oriented outings (and more bang for your buck—admissions is cheaper and you can bring coolers). Younger children will especially enjoy this waterpark, since there are more activities for children who don’t meet the height requirement for the seven-story tubes and heart-stopping drops. Older kids will love the Viper, a new ride that opened in 2011 featuring high-banking turns and a 20 ft mega-tube, as well as the slightly calmer Great White. The park is open May through August.
