Profile

The Creative Arts Center of Dallas is a nonprofit organization that offers classes and workshops in photography, jewelry making, drawing, painting, metal, mixed media, bookbinding, and more. Opened in 1965, the Creative Arts Center is now located near White Rock Lake in a former elementary school built in the 1930s. The 2-acre campus has everything an artist needs, including indoor and outdoor workspaces, a kiln room, and exhibition space. More than 30 teachers, most of whom hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in fine art, teach more than 300 classes each year.
