The Artists’ Showplace is exactly what its name suggests: an artist-run gallery designed to provide a space for works by local artisans and encourage art education in the community. You can find everything from works on canvas, glass art, and fractal art to jewelry, sculpture, photography, and pottery. The Artists’ Showplace offers a range of workshops taught by renowned artists. Though registration fees typically top $300, workshops run all day for five days. The first Friday of the month brings a special showing of featured artists, complete with music, snacks, and wine. The gallery also has a meeting room that can be rented out for business or social events.
