Performing Arts Fort Worth is a nonprofit group that owns and operates the Bass Performance Hall in Sundance Square. The hall’s four resident companies—the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, Fort Worth Opera, Texas Ballet Theater, and Van Cliburn Foundation—rent out the venue and provide an annual slate of shows. But Performing Arts Fort Worth fills the rest of the year with its own brand of one-night entertainment, with major musical acts, dance groups, and more hitting the Bass Hall stage. Performing Arts Fort Worth also teams with Casa Manana to present Broadway at the Bass, an annual series that brings shows like Fiddler on the Roof, Little House on the Prairie, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat to Fort Worth. Educational programs start with stories and singing for first graders and end with master classes and teacher training designed to provide even seasoned artists with learning opportunities.
