Circle Theatre

From an early production of Tennessee Williams’ The Glass Menagerie to shows such as Lincolnesque, Five Course Love, and Chesapeake, the Circle Theatre has found a solid mix of lauded classics and obscure scripts. Many of the works are local or even national premieres, and the theater frequently features Texas playwrights. During an average season, four or five plays hit the stage, with performances on select Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights.

Though the shows have been going on for some three decades, a recent remodeling job has left the Circle Theatre looking like new, boasting a lobby complete with leather furniture and abstract art and a concession stand that serves beer and wine.
