Profile

The Chamber Music Society of Fort Worth specializes in performances of intimate chamber music written by some of the most important and influential composers of Baroque, classical, romantic, and contemporary music. From Bach to Beethoven, the CMS has an impressive library of pieces played by a respected ensemble of two to five musicians. Performances include a renowned guest pianist such as Jon Nakamatsu or Antonio Pompa-Baldi; on occasion, other guest musicians on harp or flute are part of the show. The CMS season typically starts in October and runs through April, with one Sunday afternoon concert per month inside the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth.
