Everything about this place—white tablecloths, black-and-white marble floor—implies special occasion, but it's very much a neighborhood restaurant. Crab cakes, served on fresh greens with rémoulade sauce, still thrill, as does the chocolate pecan ball: vanilla ice cream rolled in pecans and doused with chocolate.
