Dr. Liesl Bredeson, formerly Dr. Liesl Smith, has been a practicing OBGYN in Dallas since 2000. After graduating from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, she completed her residency at Methodist Medical Center. Dr. Bredeson was drawn to the practice of OB/GYN for the opportunity to develop relationships with her patients, providing care across the stages of their lives. She enjoys the full spectrum of the specialty, from family planning and obstetrics to well-woman care, laparoscopic surgery, and menopause. She has been recognized as a Mom-Approved OB/GYN by the readers of DFWChild Magazine, a Health Care Hero by the Dallas Business Journal for her work on the Premiere Perinatal Safety Committee, and ranks in the 99th percentile of patient satisfaction nationally.
Dr. Bredeson has three children, one in the Denver area and two still at home. With her kids, she is involved in sports, school, and church activities. Dr. Bredeson enjoys gardening and reading. She exercises regularly and loves to cook with her kids.
