After 39 years of merchandise piled up in three rickety antique houses on Fairmount, the Uncommon Market has moved to a 45,000-square-foot warehouse on Riveredge. With its eclectic mixture of antiques and found objects that’s a cross between a Paris flea market and London’s Portobello Road, the shop has long been a favorite source of Dallas decorators for out-of-the-ordinary decorative pieces. The new space provides room for a lighting business called Uncommon Lighting, and an area to display unusual pieces like large circus banners.
