40-year furniture industry veteran and Southern California transplant Don Jefferies is the proprietor behind Sofa Work's trove of high style yet cost conscious couches. The space on Irving Boulevard is devoid of the typical furniture showroom bells and whistles, with white brick walls and concrete floors allowing the dozen or so featured sofas on display to take center stage.
You can have any of his existing designs (there are hundreds) tweaked by size, comfort level, cushion filling, fabric, and design detail, with the process taking 5-7 weeks from design to delivery. Want to start completely from scratch? Jefferies is up for that too.
