Profile

Co-owner Matthew Earnest, a Houston native, has big-time talent. He was, after all, the very first student at Parson School of Design to show during New York Fashion Week before graduating, and he received raves in critical publications such as Vogue, W, and WWD. His first foray into retail carries the boutique’s namesake line, which is co-designed by London dweller Lily Atherton Hanbury. How lucky are we that he decided to open in Dallas? The small, light-filled boutique caters to women who want understated glamour that doesn’t smack of look-at-me glitz. Washed silks are a favorite fabric, and when it’s made into oversize men’s shirts based on Atherton’s grandfather’s button-downs, you know the result is full-on chic. Along with gold bracelets designed by Hanbury, find a downright cool collection of jewelry by FIT-trained Kathryn Allsop.
