Just because you’re not in the market for a birdhouse, gardening tools, or new wind chimes, that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t stop in the arboretum’s store after a day of taking in the local plant life. We also found cookbooks, picnic baskets, flower vases, aprons, and jewelry. The kids’ section was a hoot, with books, arts and crafts kits, and science-inspired games. The gardens left us feeling Zen, though, so we walked away with CDs: one for peaceful entertaining and one for meditation.
