Kathryn Murphy is a partner in the law firm of Goranson, Bain, Larsen, Greenwald, Maultsby & Murphy, PLLC, whose practice is limited to matrimonial law. She is Board Certified in Family Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization.

Kathryn is the primary researcher and writer of the book, Protecting Your Assets From a Texas Divorce, which was published in 2005. She co-authored West Publishing Company’s Texas Family Law Practice Guide, a three-volume family law treatise for attorneys that was published in March 2000 and supplemented each year since.
Kathryn has extensive trial experience, she practices collaborative law, and she is a frequent author and speaker on family law issues, including alimony, child support, relocation, business valuations, division of property, characterization of assets, premarital agreements and electronic evidence.
