Jacqueline Porter’s school caters to everyone from professionally minded performers to recreational rompers. Students can choose from 150-plus classes held each week, including ballet, jazz, tap, modern, contemporary, hip-hop, singing, acting, and tumbling. More than 95 percent of her faculty have national-level professional credits such as Broadway shows, American Ballet Theatre, and choreography for Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake. Current student ages range from 18 months to 85 years. Classes start at $20 per hour.
