Though they tailor lessons to any student’s preferred style (classical, rock, blues, and others), most of the instructors at this Plano studio are professional jazz junkies. Students take private lessons in electric and upright bass, guitar, flute, piano, or voice. Special Jam Lab performances allow students to show off their skills while the pros play backup. A 30-minute weekly class costs $120 per month. In-home lessons via webcam are also available.
