Dr. Mezera and Medical City’s hand and upper extremity program offers advance surgical and non-surgical care for hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder problems. Our comprehensive care and individualized treatment plans are designed to achieve the best possible results for every patient. 

Dr. Mezera is a board certified orthopedic surgeon that specializes in the treatment of hand and upper extremity conditions including pediatric cases.

Dr. Mezera is a 1987 graduate of the University of North Texas and received her medical degree from UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. She completed her Orthopedic residency training at UT Southwestern and Parkland Memorial Hospital. Dr. Mezera then completed additional specialty fellowship training in the area of hand and upper extremity surgery at the Hospital for Special Surgery and The New York Hospital/Cornell Medical Center in New York City.
