Brody Flanagin, MD is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in arthroscopic, reconstructive, and replacement surgery of the shoulder and elbow. He has a particular interest in complex arthroscopic and open reconstructive and replacement surgery of the shoulder as well as treatment of fractures involving the shoulder. Dr. Flanagin earned his medical degree at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine before completing his residency in orthopaedic surgery at the Yale University School of Medicine. He then completed a fellowship in Shoulder & Elbow surgery in Dallas at the Carrell Clinic/Baylor University Medical Center. Following his fellowship, Dr. Flanagin spent additional time with Dr. Gilles Walch and Prof. Pascal Boileau in France before starting his practice learning advanced shoulder reconstructive techniques.

Dr. Flanagin treats patients of all ages and levels of activity who are trying to overcome traumatic and degenerative injuries involving the shoulder and elbow. Dr. Flanagin believes in providing personal and compassionate care which is tailored specifically in order to meet the individual needs of his patients and help them achieve an active, pain-free lifestyle. He is an active fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and member of the Arthroscopy Association of North America (AANA) and American Shoulder & Elbow Surgeons (ASES). He is the author of many peer-reviewed scientific papers and book chapters and has presented at national meetings.
