SER, atop the Hilton Anatole is a place to take flight. Elevate to the 27th floor, then steer toward elk, bison, or the Texas Wagyu rib-eye cap, whose espresso rub and chocolate bordelaise are not too much. Salads tend towards minimalist art. Sides include mac and cheese with andouille crumbles, bone marrow-gilded mashed potatoes, or the Broken Baker with lamb bacon and crème fraiche, possibly the best baked potato in Dallas. Service can drag. But then you’ve got the view.
