This Deep Ellum spot is the kind of place you stop in for a quick drink and never wind up leaving because of its dark, homey vibe. Owner Gabe Sanchez is a master of artisanal cocktails, and if you're nice he'll let you sample some if his infused-vodka concoctions, which are on display in glass containers behind the bar. (Watch out for the hot, hand-made Bloody Mary mix, though. It'll set your mouth on fire.)
