The Public Trust

Category:

Profile

In 2003, Brian Gibb co-founded Art Prostitute, a publication that featured interviews from major minds in contemporary art. After a successful year, the popular periodical begot a gallery of the same name in Denton, where both institutions operated until Gibb decided to shift his business to Dallas in 2007. When he moved into the Deep Ellum locale, the gallery started fresh with a new moniker. The Public Trust displays contemporary art in the form of drawings, paintings, sculpture, and new media. Recent exhibitions have included street artist Shepard Fairey’s Printed Matters and Jacobine Van Der Meer’s Of Twark and Trubble, featuring ‘The Perfidious Petards’.
