Profile
As the name suggests, the Rosewood Center for Family Arts likes to keep things family-friendly. Serving as the home of the Dallas Children’s Theater, many of the shows that hit the stage here are classic tales like James and the Giant Peach, The Velveteen Rabbit, and Goodnight Moon. Others, like The Secret Life of Girls, deal with teen issues. Renovated in 2003, the Rosewood Center now boasts a pair of theaters (the main venue can accommodate 400, while a smaller theater seats about 150), as well as classrooms, meeting spaces, and a dance studio. The facility is also available for private events.
