Co-owned by brothers Bryan and Taber Wetz, Rising Gallery is a contemporary art space located just off Knox Street. Housed in a vintage recording studio, this intimate gallery has photography, canvas, and paper works adorning its walls, while sculpture and ceramics often occupy floor space. Rising Gallery represents a relatively small stable of emerging talent, but it still organizes distinctive shows, such as Lloyd Lowe Jr.’s "So… how are things?" which explored the current state of technology and access to information. Rising Gallery rotates exhibits every four to six weeks.
