Just west of downtown is the Haley-Henman Gallery, which shows off modern art across nearly any media, including oil and acrylic on canvas, brushed aluminum, and photography on plexiglass. The artists represented and displayed inside the gallery are mostly local names, such as Mirtha Aertker, Christopher Lee Martin, and Sussan Afrasiabian. Exhibitions run concurrently, typically lasting four weeks, though some stretch for longer. Each year, Haley-Henman Gallery organizes events designed to explore the inspiration behind featured works. These are free and open to the public but limited to around 24 patrons. The gallery is also available for private events.
