Eisenbergs Skatepark

Profile

When the kids are sick of carving in the cul-de-sac, take them to an indoor park encompassing 30,000 square feet of ramps and rails (built by the family of an X Games gold medalist). A foam pit comes in handy when practicing aerials on the quarter pipe. Skateboards, inline skates, and bikes are welcome; helmets are mandatory. Little ladies skate free on Saturday nights after 7 PM.

Summer Camps:
Extreme campers spend five action-packed days learning to skate. Pro instructors teach kids how to ollie on skateboards, skate inline, go big with BMX bikes, or scuttle on scooters. Campers must bring their own equipment. Weeklong day camps for ages 8 and up start at $365. Overnight camps are available for ages 10 and up, starting at $725.

Youth Sports:
This skatepark, built by the family of X Games gold medalist Arlo Eisenberg, provides lessons for kids interested in skateboarding, inline skating, and BMX biking. Kids age 6 and up can learn to pop an ollie in group ($16.25), semiprivate ($35), or private lessons ($50). It also offers a beginner’s package that includes a skateboard, helmet, and two private lessons for $220.
