From sharks and spiny lobsters to albino alligators and red-bellied piranhas, the newly renovated Children’s Aquarium offers a slice of life from every corner of the sea. Kids can get an up-close look at (and feel of) smooth sea-floor gliders and gaze on zebra sharks at Stingray Bay. Spiny sea urchins and starfish live in the Intertidal Zone, while the Near Shore Zone offers eels and even a Giant Pacific Octopus. Outside snacks are allowed as well, so you don’t end up with a group of grumpy aquatic adventurers.
